We Provide End-to-End Mentorship

GIMHS is a one-stop institute providing full end-to-end services to our students during all phases of becoming a United States board-certified clinician.We provide eight (8) unique services that can be selected as required by each candidate to create their own tailor-made page

Pre-Application Advisory Support

We assign personal advisors and peer mentors to students to provide free consultation and assistance in selecting appropriate EU medical school programs and navigating all the necessary requirements based on the individual student's circumstances and academic status

Documentation and Admission Guidance

We work closely with students in completing the application process, including assisting with all necessary documentation, arranging interviews, and providing pre-departure packets.

Students with International Academic Transcripts

Our advisory team can pre-evaluate international academic transcripts to determine student’s eligibility to any of our partnering medical schools.

Departure and Settling

We assist with planning our students’ journeys to European countries, the visa process, and travel advice. Airport pick-up is available to help our students find safe temporary and affordable accommodations, along with clear advice on accommodations in safe neighborhoods if students choose not to stay in university accommodations. We also help our students settle into their respective countries, cities, and schools

Academic Support and Career Development Mentoring

  • We provide academic support via peer-to-peer mentorship by European medical students, Unites States Medical students as well as professional and leadership development mentorship by seasoned attending physicians, fellows, residents and faculty
  • In addition to providing assistance from personal academic and career development counselors, we support our students' examination-taking skills with free UWorld and Kaplan USMLE revision and test preparation materials.
  • Students also have free and unlimited access to electronic medical school textbooks in audio and video formats to support their learning.

United States Clinical Rotations

We provide students clinical rotations in our partnering United States institutions and teaching hospitals after successfully passing the USMLE Step 1 board examination.

Clinical and Translational Research Opportunities

  • After completion of clinical rotation, students will have the opportunity to undertake top-notch clinical and translational sciences research at leading United States universities and research institutions under the supervision and mentorship of passionate senior faculty members to guide future professional development, strengthen residency application and enhance chances of match into competitive residency programs
  • To augment residency application outcomes and faculty career development, we also provide the opportunity for students to undertake a 9-month accredited certificate course in Practice of Clinical Research from the Department of Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Residency Application and Professional Development Guidance

Qualified clinicians, residents and fellows are assigned to students to help them with specialty selection, residency application preparation and interview strategies
